ABOUT THIS AIRCRAFT
The world's best selling business jet, the Citation XLS+, also known as the Citation Excel Plus, offers a similar cabin to the Citation Excel however features upgraded engines and avionics delivering an increased performance. It has proved very successful on the charter market due to its versatility. The Citation XLS+ has a maximum cruise speed of 817 km/h and a range of 3,889 km. The cabin can comfortably seat nine passengers and in addition to the fully-reclining padded leather seats, it is often configured to include a side-facing couch.
With the largest cabin in its class, the Cessna Citation XLS+ offers ample closet space within the cabin for hanging suits and jackets. In the galley there is usually a microwave, wine caddy, ice drawer and hot liquid tank. The interior comes in six colour scheme variations, all featuring luxurious materials and premium finishes. Foldaway tables and built-in drinks holders are ideal for creating a workspace setup.
The plane benefits from the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21™ integrated avionics system with four EFIS LCD displays and the FMS-3000 Flight Management System. In many Citation XLS+s there is an entertainment system, Wi-Fi and telecommunications system on board.
The aircraft can accommodate 362.9 kg of baggage and has a total luggage space of 2.24 m. Short-field capability means the aircraft can take-off from shorter runways and smaller airports. Another advantage of this aircraft is the comparatively low operating cost for its type.

There have been 575 Cessna Citation XL aircraft built since the plane first started being manufactured in 1996. The Citation XLS+ is an upgraded version of the aircraft which has been manufactured by Cessna since 2008.

On GlobalAir prices started at $4,950,000 for models built in 2009 and an aircraft built in 2015 was listed for sale at $8,850,000. The average price on GlobalAir for the aircraft was $6,846,666.
