About this aircraft

  • Based on the successful Global 5000, the Global 5500 is among Bombardier’s newest aircraft and was first delivered in 2020.

  • The Global 5500 can fly non-stop from London to Los Angeles, Hong Kong to Sydney and Los Angeles to São Paulo.
  • The Global 5500’s baggage hold has space for around 14 suitcases.

With a maximum speed of Mach 0.90 and an innovative wing design, the Global 5500 can reach your destination incredibly quickly while providing a comfortable and smooth ride.

Interior design

The Global 5500 has one of the widest cabins in its class, seating 13 or 14 passengers in three distinct zones: a club suite for work and relaxation; conference suite where up to six people can hold meetings or dine together; and private suite with an adjoining bathroom and wardrobe in the quietest area of the aircraft. At the front of the cabin is a sizable galley where hot and cold refreshments can be prepared, along with a separate enclosed lavatory.

Onboard comfort is defined by revolutionary Nuage seating and a sophisticated air purification system, which features an advanced HEPA filter that cleans the air far more efficiently than fresh air-only systems.

Below are examples of typical configurations found onboard a Global 5500.
