Arranging multiple charters for a French MICE trip
In September 2021, a MICE agency asked us to help transport hundreds of I.T. workers across France for an incentive trip marking the launch of their employer’s new branding.
The original trip to Morocco had been delayed until June 2022 due to Covid-19 restrictions, so in the interim the client wanted to arrange a last-minute alternative to Nice. But with several date changes and route alterations due to Covid-19, we had to pull out all the stops to fulfil the complex request.
Our Solution
Route: Various > Nice
Aircraft: Two Airbus A320s, an Airbus A321, an Embraer 190 and a Boeing B737-8
The client wanted to fly 850 employees to Nice, which required five flights in total – two departing from Paris and one each from Caen, Nantes and Toulouse. After confirming the number of passengers travelling from each region, we sourced the most competitively priced aircraft for each charter. The flights ran smoothly, despite having to reroute two of the return flights to depart from Marseilles when a terminal at Nice Airport was forced to close due to Covid-related staff shortages.
The Finer Details
Available 24/7: Our expert team was on-hand around the clock, liaising with the client and five different operators to ensure the charters ran smoothly.
Going the Extra Mile: We booked catering for each charter, as well as arranging a branding reveal on the outbound flights and branded headrest covers for the return legs.
